Tres de Febrero is a district in central Caaguazú department, roughly 218 km from Asunción, reached by a branch road off Route PY02. It was founded as a district in 1991, bordered by Yhú to the north and west, Raúl Arsenio Oviedo to the east, and Frutos to the south. Its plains, watered by tributaries of the Paso, Porã, and Mbutuy streams, support agriculture and livestock raising and are home to roughly 10,000 people. Despite the "February 3" name, the district's patron feast honors San Blas.
