Teniente Agripino Enciso National Park is a protected area in northern Boquerón department, covering 40,000 hectares of the Gran Chaco. Named after a Paraguayan Chaco War hero, it protects dry thorn forest, palm savanna, and seasonal wetlands that support Chaco wildlife including the Chacoan peccary (tagua), giant anteater, jaguar, and abundant birdlife. The park is remote and undeveloped, with no visitor facilities. The best time to visit is the dry season (May–September).

By Plane

The nearest commercial airport is Mariscal Estigarribia Air Base, about 100 km south.

By Train

No passenger rail.

By Car / Road

Access is via a 4WD track from the Transchaco Highway, about 100 km north of Mariscal Estigarribia. A 4WD vehicle is essential. The nearest fuel is in Mariscal Estigarribia.

No internal roads. Exploration is on foot or by 4WD on rough tracks, with a guide.
