Serti is a town in Taraba State, headquarters of Gashaka Local Government Area, and the official gateway to the southern (Gashaka) sector of Gashaka-Gumti National Park, Nigeria's largest national park. The park's head office and entrance sit at the nearby village of Bodel. Travelers reach Serti from the south of Nigeria via Katsina Ala, Takum, and Beli, or from the north via Yola, Jalingo, Mutum Biyu, and Beli. A tourist transit camp at Serti offers rooms for park visitors, and cooked Nigerian dishes are available at the Serti motor park; current information on park fees and permits can be obtained from the National Park head office, based in Serti.
