Asaba
Delta, Nigeria
Why visit Asaba?
Asaba is the capital city of Delta State, situated on the west bank of the Niger River, directly opposite Onitsha in Anambra State. The two cities are connected by the Niger Bridge, one of Nigeria's most important infrastructure landmarks. Asaba is a calm, well-planned administrative city with wide streets, government buildings, and a growing economy.
The city has a tropical climate with a rainy season from April to October. Asaba is one of the safest and most livable state capitals in Nigeria, making it an excellent base for exploring the region.
