Why visit Gombi?

Gombi is a town in the northern part of Adamawa State, situated on the main A4 highway between Yola and Mubi. It is the headquarters of Gombi LGA and an important agricultural centre, known for its production of maize, millet, and groundnuts. The town is predominantly inhabited by the Bata and Fulani peoples.

The climate is tropical with a distinct dry season (November–April) and a rainy season (May–October). Gombi is a common stop for travellers on the Yola–Mubi road.
