How do you get there?

There is one daily bus from Rama leaving at 15:00 and returning to Rama at 06:00. Reportedly there is also a direct bus from Managua 's Mercado Mayoreo (where buses to Rama leave), but don't count on it.

Pearl Lagoon is compact enough to explore on foot, with most points of interest within walking distance of the town centre. Mototaxis and tuk-tuks are available for trips to outlying areas or neighbouring villages. Local transport options are affordable and widely used by residents.
