Why visit Tatopani?

Tatopani (meaning "hot water" in Nepali) is a village in Myagdi District at 1,190 m, named for its natural hot springs. Located in the Kali Gandaki valley, it is a popular rest stop on the Annapurna Circuit where trekkers soak their tired muscles in the riverside hot pools. The village is surrounded by lush hillsides and has a relaxed, resort-like feel.

The climate is warm and relatively humid compared to the upper Mustang valley. The best times to visit are March–May and September–November.
