Becici

Budva, Montenegro

Why visit Becici?

Bečići is a coastal resort town located along Montenegro's Adriatic coast on the Budva Riviera. Centered around a wide, sandy shoreline, the town is a laid-back destination popular with families and travellers seeking relaxation. The resort's crowning jewel is Bečići Beach, which won the prestigious "Grand Prix" in Paris in 1935 as the most beautiful beach in Europe. Today, it remains a major hub for sunbathing, swimming, and water sports.

The modern, tourist-centric atmosphere of Bečići is complemented by its proximity to Budva's historic old walled town, situated just over a mile (approximately two kilometres) to the west. The two towns are connected by a scenic coastal promenade, which can be traversed on foot or via a small tourist train. Walking in the opposite direction along the same promenade leads to the traditional fishing village of Rafailovići, which offers a selection of seaside cafes and restaurants.

A small tourist train also runs along the promenade to Budva.

To explore the scenic beaches in the vicinity, such as Kamenovo, Pržno, and Miločer, visitors can walk, take local buses, or use taxis.
