By Plane
Sultan Ismail Petra Airport (KBR) in Kota Bharu is 55 km north-west (1 hr drive).
By Train
No train. The nearest KTM station is in Tumpat (60 km north-west), connecting to the Jungle Railway.
By Car / Road
Kuala Besut is on Highway 3 (T3), 80 km north of Kuala Terengganu (1.5 hr) and 50 km south of Kota Bharu (1 hr).
The town is compact and walkable. The jetty, market, and restaurants are all within 500 m of each other.
