15 minutes from Butterworth by road. By KTM commuter train from Butterworth.

  • BM town centre.

  • Minor Basilica of St. Anne — A Catholic minor basilica whose annual Feast of St. Anne, held over ten days culminating on 26 July, draws well over 100,000 pilgrims from Malaysia and neighbouring countries — one of the largest Catholic pilgrimages in Southeast Asia. The feast includes a nine-day novena and a candlelight procession.

  • Food tour — BM is known for its Chinese food, especially its wanton mee.

  • Attend the Feast of St. Anne if visiting in late July.
