Pengkalan Kubor

Kelantan, Malaysia

Why visit Pengkalan Kubor?

Pengkalan Kubor is a small coastal border town in Tumpat District, northern Kelantan, at the estuary of the Golok River, which forms the border with Thailand along this stretch. A Malaysian immigration checkpoint here handles a ferry crossing over the river mouth to Tak Bai, in Thailand's Narathiwat province, one of only a handful of official Kelantan–Thailand border crossings. The town has a small market alongside the checkpoint.
