Why visit Kuala Krai?

Kuala Krai is a town in central Kelantan near where the Galas River joins the Lebir and Pergau to form the Kelantan River. It is a transit hub for whitewater rafting on the nearby rivers, whose rapids run through jungle, limestone hills, and cave scenery, and for access to Gunung Stong State Park to the north.
