Overview

Sinoe County is a coastal county in south-central Liberia, one of the original counties created at Liberia's founding. The capital Greenville is a historic port city at the mouth of the Sinoe River. The county is home to the Sapo National Park, Liberia's first and largest national park, protecting a vast area of tropical lowland rainforest. Sinoe also has miles of undeveloped Atlantic coastline.
