Karnplay

Karnplay (also spelled Kahnple or Karnplay City) is a town in Nimba County, Liberia, about 19 km (12 miles) from the border with Côte d'Ivoire. It is one of five incorporated cities in the county and was, at the 2008 national census, Nimba's fourth-largest settlement with a population of roughly 5,600. The town sits in Liberia's forested eastern highlands near the Ivorian frontier, an area shaped by cross-border Gio (Dan) communities on both sides of the boundary.
