Damour

Damour is a coastal town in the Chouf District ~20 km south of Beirut on the Mediterranean coast at the mouth of the Damour River. Known for banana plantations and citrus groves.

The climate is Mediterranean with warm dry summers and mild wet winters. The best times to visit are spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) when temperatures are pleasant.
