Faraya (Arabic: فريا) is an alpine village in the Keserwan District at ~1,600 m. Lebanon's premier ski destination with the Mzaar Ski Resort, the largest in the country (42 km of slopes). In summer, a cool mountain retreat for hiking.

How do you get there?

By Plane

Beirut–Rafic Hariri International Airport (BEY IATA) ~50 km (1 hr).

By Car / Road

From Beirut north toward Jounieh, then east up the mountain road (1 hr). Chains may be required in winter.

Walkable village. Resort shuttle for ski area.
