Malakisi

Malakisi is a small town on the A104 highway in western Bungoma County, close to the Uganda border at Malaba. It is primarily a transit stop for travellers and truck drivers on the busy Nairobi–Uganda corridor, with a few basic services catering to road traffic. The surrounding area is agricultural, growing sugarcane and maize.

By Car / Road

Malakisi is on the A104 highway between Bungoma (about 30 km east) and the Malaba border post (about 10 km west). Buses and matatus on the Nairobi–Uganda route all pass through.

The town is a linear strip along the highway. Walkable.
