Benevento Benevento (Neapolitan: Beneviénto ) is a town of almost 60,000 inhabitants in Campania .

By plane The closest international airport is in Naples from which you could reach Benevento in less than 1½ hr with EAV bus service .

The town centre is compact and walkable. A car is recommended for exploring the surrounding area. Local buses may connect to nearby villages.
