About Skibbereen
Skibbereen is a destination in Munster, Ireland.
Skibbereen (An Sciobairín) is a lively market town in West Cork, at the heart of the region known as 'the land of Ire' — a reference to the strong Irish-speaking tradition. The town has excellent shops, galleries, and restaurants, and serves as a commercial hub for the surrounding villages and islands. The nearby Lough Hyne is a unique marine nature reserve, the first in Ireland.
