Bardsir

Bardsir is a city in north-central Kerman Province, situated in a high-altitude valley at approximately 2,050 m elevation. It is an agricultural centre known for wheat, barley, and livestock. The region has a moderate semi-arid climate and serves as a gateway between Kerman and the western mountain towns.

By Bus

Bardsir has daily buses to Kerman (65 km, 1 hr), Sirjan, and Baft. The bus terminal is central.

By Car

Highway 84 skirts Bardsir, connecting it to Kerman (65 km east) and Sirjan (140 km west). Regional roads run south to Baft.

Bardsir is compact and walkable. Taxis are available for the surrounding villages.

• Bardsir Bazaar: A small, traditional market.

• Historic Water Reservoirs: Several qanat-fed ab anbars are scattered around the old quarter.

• Alpine Meadows: The surrounding valleys are green in spring and make for pleasant walks.

• Hike in the nearby mountains during spring (March–May).

• Visit local farms to see traditional livestock herding and wheat cultivation.

Simple Persian food at local eateries around the main square. Try mast-o-khiar (yogurt with cucumber) and local flatbreads.
