Fuman (فومن) is a historic city in western Gīlān Province, situated in the foothills of the Alborz mountains. Known for its scenic setting, Fuman has a history dating back to the Sassanid era. The city is surrounded by rice paddies and forests.

Rasht Airport (RAS) is about 25 km northeast.

By Car / Road

Fuman is 20 km west of Rasht on the road to Masuleh. Regular minibuses from Rasht.
