How do you get there?

The most practical access is via air DPS car 2.5h. Local transport (bemos, ojek, taxis) connects the airport or ferry terminal to the town centre. For remote areas, pre-arranged transport or guided tours are strongly recommended.

Transport within the area depends on the destination's size. In towns and cities, bemos (minibuses), ojek (motorcycle taxis), and becak (tricycle rickshaws) are the standard options. For islands and natural areas, boats, chartered vehicles, or walking with a local guide are the norm.
