About Tseri
Tseri (Greek: Τσέρι) is a rapidly growing residential municipality located approximately 12 kilometers south of Nicosia's city centre. Historically, Tseri was a quiet agricultural village known for its dry-land farming, producing wheat, barley, and olives, as well as livestock farming.
Following the urban expansion of Nicosia in the late 20th and early 21st centuries, Tseri has transformed into a modern suburban residential area. It attracts families seeking a quieter, suburban lifestyle while remaining within an easy commute of the capital.
The climate is semi-arid, characterized by very hot, dry summers and mild winters. While Tseri is not a traditional tourist destination, it offers a peaceful, authentic look at modern suburban life in Cyprus, with a small historic core and scenic agricultural fields on its outskirts.
