How do you get there?

By Plane

Nearest airport is Daniel Oduber International (LIR) in Liberia, about 60 km north (1 hour drive).

By Train

Costa Rica has no passenger rail service to this area.

By Car / Road

On the Interamericana (Route 1), about 60 km south of Liberia and 155 km northwest of San José (2.5-3 hours). Regular bus services along the Interamericana stop in Bagaces.

The town is small and walkable. A car is recommended for visiting nearby attractions.
