How do you get there?

By Plane

Daniel Oduber International (LIR) in Liberia is about 80 km north (1.5 hours). Juan Santamaría (SJO) is about 170 km southeast (3 hours).

By Train

Costa Rica has no passenger rail service to this area.

By Car / Road

On the Interamericana (Route 1), 80 km south of Liberia or 170 km northwest of San José. Regular bus services connect to both cities.

Town center is walkable. Car recommended for Tenorio/Río Celeste access.
