Beregadougou

Beregadougou is a small village in the Cascades region, located in the sugar cane belt northeast of Banfora. It is one of several villages in the Karfiguéla area, named for its proximity to the Karfiguéla waterfalls (Cascades de Banfora). The population is predominantly Karaboro, and the local economy revolves around sugar cane cultivation and subsistence farming.

The village is primarily used as a starting point for visits to the Karfiguéla Falls, which are within easy walking distance. Beregadougou itself is a quiet agricultural settlement with traditional village architecture.

By Car / Road

Beregadougou is about 15 km north-east of Banfora on the road to the Karfiguéla Falls. Accessible by taxi from Banfora (2000–3000 CFA). The road is partially paved.
