Lentsweletau

Lentsweletau is a village in the Kweneng District of Botswana, located west of Molepolole in the transitional zone between the more fertile eastern Kweneng and the drier Kalahari sandwich. It is a rural farming settlement with a population primarily engaged in livestock and crop farming. The village has basic services including a primary school and a small shop. The landscape consists of acacia woodland, grazing areas, and dry riverbeds that carry water only during the rainy season. The nearest larger settlement is Molepolole, about 40 km east.

Sir Seretse Khama International Airport (GBE) in Gaborone is approximately 90 km east. A taxi costs around P400–500.

By Car / Road

Lentsweletau is accessible via unpaved roads from Molepolole. A standard car can manage in dry conditions, but a 4x4 is recommended in the wet season.

Lentsweletau is a small village that is walkable. A private vehicle is needed to reach the village and explore the surrounding area.
