By Plane

Sir Seretse Khama International Airport (GBE) in Gaborone is 35 km east. A taxi costs around P150–250.

By Car / Road

Kopong is on the A2 highway between Gaborone and Molepolole, about 35 km from both towns. Minibus taxis run frequently along this route.

Kopong is walkable in the centre. A taxi or private vehicle is useful for reaching outlying areas and for commuting to Gaborone.
