Abu Saiba

Abu Saiba is a coastal village in the Northern Governorate of Bahrain, located on the northwest coast near the Budaiya area. It is a traditional fishing and agricultural settlement with a seaside character, offering views across the Gulf. The village has a small fishing harbour and is surrounded by date-palm groves and farmland.

Abu Saiba retains a quiet, traditional atmosphere. It is close to Budaiya and the craft villages of the interior, making it a convenient stop for visitors exploring the northwest of the island. The best time to visit is from November to March.

By Plane

Bahrain International Airport (BAH IATA) is approximately 30 km northeast, about a 30-minute drive. A taxi from the airport costs around BD 8–10.

By Car / Road

Abu Saiba is located near the Budaiya Highway, approximately 25 minutes from Manama and 5 minutes from Budaiya.

The village is walkable. A car is needed for wider exploration.
