Bulduq

Sabirabad, Azerbaijan

Why visit Bulduq?

Bulduq is a small farming village in Sabirabad Rayon, south-central Azerbaijan, on the Mughan plain. Like the surrounding settlements, Bulduq is an agricultural hamlet where cotton, wheat, and vegetables are the main crops. Life is simple and seasonal, centred around family, farming, and the local mosque. The village has no tourist infrastructure, making it a destination for those seeking an authentic glimpse of rural Azerbaijani life rather than sights or activities. The climate is typical of the lowlands — very hot summers, mild winters, and the best travel conditions in spring and autumn.
