Why visit Ischgl?
Ischgl is a world-renowned ski resort village in the Paznaun Valley of Tyrol, sitting at 1,377 m elevation near the Swiss border. With only 1,600 permanent residents but 7,000+ bed-nights available, Ischgl transforms from a quiet Alpine village in summer to one of Europe's most glamorous and party-oriented ski destinations in winter. The resort is connected to Samnaun, Switzerland, forming the massive Silvretta Arena ski region with 239 km of slopes.
The village is known for its legendary après-ski scene, top-tier concerts (the Top of the Mountain series has featured acts like Robbie Williams, Tina Turner, and Ellie Goulding), and a high-fashion shopping strip that rivals St. Moritz. Ischgl is also the gateway to the Silvretta mountain range and the Fimba Valley, with summer hiking trails reaching up to 2,872 m.
