Manjimup is a town in the South West region of Western Australia, approximately 300 km south of Perth. It is the centre of a major agricultural and timber-producing region, known for its apples, potatoes, marron (freshwater crayfish), and truffles. The town was established in the 1850s and grew following the construction of the railway in 1911. The surrounding Karri and Jarrah forests are among the tallest forests in the world. The climate is Mediterranean, with cool wet winters and warm dry summers.

By Plane

The nearest airport is Perth Airport (PER), approximately 300 km north. A regional airport at Busselton (BQB) is about 130 km west.

By Train

There is no passenger rail service to Manjimup. The nearest station is in Bunbury.

By Car / Road

Manjimup is at the junction of the South Western Highway (Route 10) and the Vasse Highway. It is about a 3.5-hour drive from Perth via the South Western Highway, and about 1 hour from Pemberton.

A car is essential for exploring the Manjimup region. The town centre is walkable. Taxi services are limited.
