Thanh Tri
Sóc Trăng, Viet Nam
Why visit Thanh Tri?
Thanh Tri is a district town in eastern Sóc Trăng Province, bordered by the Hau River to the north and the coast of the South China Sea to the east. It is a predominantly agricultural and aquaculture area, with extensive shrimp farms and rice paddies defining the landscape. Like much of the province, Thanh Tri has a significant Khmer minority, and Khmer-language signage and pagodas are common in the countryside.
The climate follows the Mekong Delta pattern: a rainy season from May to October and a dry season from November to April.
