Why visit Gia Loc?

Gia Loc (Gia Lộc) is a rural district in central Hải Dương province, covering 122 km² with a population of about 151,000. The district capital is the town of Gia Lộc. The area is predominantly agricultural, with rice cultivation, vegetable farming, and fruit orchards forming the economic backbone. Gia Lộc lies on the Thái Bình River system, which provides irrigation for its farmlands.

The district has a typical northern Vietnamese climate: cool dry winters (November–April, 14–22°C) and hot humid summers (May–October, 25–34°C). The best time to visit is during the dry winter months. Gia Lộc is a quiet, rural area not frequently visited by international tourists.
