About Cai Nuoc
Cai Nuoc (Cái Nước) is a ward (phường) in Cà Mau Province, located in the Mekong Delta region of southern Vietnam. Established in June 2025 through a reorganisation of commune-level administrative units, Cai Nuoc covers an area of approximately 113.55 km² with a population of around 52,405 people. The ward was formed by merging Cái Nước Township, Trần Thới Commune, and parts of Đông Thới and Tân Hưng Đông Communes. The area is characterised by its network of canals and waterways, typical of the Mekong Delta landscape.
Cai Nuoc has a tropical monsoon climate with a dry season from November to April and a rainy season from May to October. Average temperatures range from 25–33°C year-round. The best time to visit is during the dry season when travel on local roads and waterways is easiest.
