By Car / Road
Mountain Home is accessible via US Highway 62/412 and Arkansas Highway 5. From Little Rock, take US 65 north to Harrison, then US 62 east approximately 80 miles total. From Springfield, Missouri, take US 65 south approximately 90 miles.
A personal vehicle is necessary to explore the Mountain Home area and the surrounding lakes and outdoor recreation areas.
