Devrekani

Kastamonu, Turkey

Why visit Devrekani?

Devrekani is an inland district town in central Kastamonu Province, sitting at roughly 1,090 m elevation along the Gökırmak valley (the same river valley that runs through neighbouring Daday and Taşköprü). It is a small agricultural town: the district economy rests mainly on farming and livestock, with barley, wheat, vetch, potatoes, sugar beet and silage maize as the main field crops grown in the valley and along the Devrekani stream beds.
