Why visit Pasir Ris?

Pasir Ris, meaning "white sand" in Malay, is a coastal planning area in northeastern Singapore. It is one of the island's most nature-oriented residential towns, with a 6 km stretch of beach park, a mangrove boardwalk, and the popular Wild Wild Wet water theme park. Pasir Ris remains one of the more rustic parts of Singapore, with an active fishing village atmosphere around the park.

How do you get there?

By Plane

Changi Airport (SIN) is 12 km south, 15 min taxi ($18-24). MRT: take the Circle Line from the airport to Expo, then the East-West Line to Pasir Ris (EW1) — 25 min.

By Train

Pasir Ris MRT (EW1) is the eastern terminus of the East-West Line, 30 min from Raffles Place.

By Car / Road

Accessible via the Tampines Expressway (TPE) and Pan Island Expressway (PIE). Parking at Pasir Ris Park and White Sands.

Bus services (e.g., 3, 6, 12, 15, 17, 21, 34, 39, 46, 58, 68, 81, 88, 89, 109, 168, 354, 358, 359) serve the area. Walkable around the park and beach. Cycling popular.
