Pointe Larue

Pointe Larue is a a coastal district near the international airport, home to the Seychelles Golf Club on east coast of Mahe, Seychelles. It is primarily a coastal district with a handful of local shops and guesthouses.

Its location near the airport makes it a quiet base for travellers exploring Mahe.

The southeast monsoon (May-September) brings the most comfortable conditions — sunny mornings with cooling trade winds. The northwest monsoon (November-March) is warmer and wetter. April and October are transitional months.

Pointe Larue is served by local buses running between Victoria and the southern districts. Taxis can be pre-booked. Renting a car is the most flexible option for exploring the island.
