A'opo is a village on the north-central coast of Savai'i island in Samoa's Gagaifomauga district. It is located at the eastern edge of the Gagaifomauga district, near the boundary with Gaga'emauga. The village is part of the traditional Gagaifomauga political district.
Samoa has a warm tropical climate. The dry season (May to October) is the best time to visit, with less rain and lower humidity.

By Plane
Maota Airport (MXS) on Savai'i is about 25 km southeast of A'opo — a 30-minute drive. Taxis cost around 40–50 WST.
By Car / Road
A'opo is about 35 km northwest of Salelologa on the coastal road. The road is sealed. Buses from Salelologa serve the route, though services become less frequent on the north coast. The inter-island ferry from Mulifanua (Upolu) arrives at Salelologa.
The village is walkable. For exploring Savai'i's north coast, a rental car from Salelologa is recommended.
