Why visit Silay?

Silay is a city in Negros Occidental, located just north of Bacolod. Known as the "Paris of Negros" for its well-preserved heritage houses from the sugar baron era, the city is a living museum of Philippine colonial architecture. Silay is also the location of the Bacolod-Silay Airport, the main air gateway to the region.

By plane

Bacolod-Silay Airport (BCD) is located in Silay, with flights from Manila, Cebu, Clark, Davao, and Singapore.

By land

Jeepneys, tricycles, and buses connect Silay to Bacolod (30 minutes south) and other Negros Occidental towns.

Tricycles and jeepneys are the main local transport. The heritage district is walkable.
