Koronadal (also called Marbel) is the capital of South Cotabato province and the regional administrative centre of SOCCSKSARGEN. It is a planned city built on a grid and known as the "Sunshine City" for its wide, tree-lined streets and orderly layout. The Takurong River bisects the city, providing a natural green corridor through the urban centre. The city's economy is driven by agriculture, government services, and commerce.

Fly to General Santos International Airport (GES IATA), then 45 min north by bus or van.
By Train
No passenger rail serves Koronadal.
By Car / Road
Buses from Davao City (2.5 hr), General Santos (45 min), and Cotabato City (3 hr) serve the integrated terminal in Barangay Morales. UV Express vans also operate.
Tricycles are the main mode of local transport, with fares from P10. Jeepneys cover major routes within the city and to nearby municipalities.
