The village is set along the ring road between the coast and the forested interior, with access to both the lagoon and the hills where Ngardmau Waterfall is located. It is a quiet, rural community with no tourist facilities.

Ngetbong is most conveniently positioned for access to the Ngardmau Waterfall trailhead, which is a short drive inland from the village.
