Why visit Sogndal?

Sogndal is home to a university campus that gives this small fjord-side town a lively, youthful atmosphere. It sits in the heart of the Sognefjord region, making it an excellent base for exploring the magnificent fjord landscape, the Jostedalsbreen glacier, and the surrounding mountains. The Norwegian Glacier Museum is a key attraction.
