Why visit Lyngdal?

Lyngdal is a quintessential Norwegian summer destination along the sunny Sørlandet coast, known for its white wooden houses, rocky islands, and inviting beaches. The town comes alive in the summer months with outdoor cafés, boat trips to nearby islands, and a relaxed holiday atmosphere. The archipelago offers excellent kayaking, swimming, and fishing opportunities.

Gundersen above, and Rosfjord Strandhotell and Paulsens Hotell below, all serve beer. Unlike before, one can now buy beer in the stores, and there is also a Vinmonopol (Wine Monopoly).
