Dala
Yangon, Myanmar
Why visit Dala?
Dala is a township on the southern bank of the Yangon River, directly opposite downtown Yangon. It is reached by a short ferry ride from the city centre, and offers a glimpse of life away from the high-rises and traffic of Yangon — a quieter world of wooden houses, narrow streets, and village-like atmosphere. Dala is a popular budget day trip from Yangon.
The climate is tropical monsoon, with the best weather from November to February. Dala can be visited year-round.
