About Ada Bojana
Ada Bojana is a unique triangular river island located in the southernmost corner of Montenegro, created by a delta of the Bojana River at the border with Albania. The island is bordered by two branches of the river and the Adriatic Sea. Ada Bojana is world-famous for its naturist (nudist) resort, which was established in 1973. It is a paradise of untouched nature, famous for its sandy beach, kitesurfing, and iconic wooden seafood restaurants built on stilts over the river.

Ada Bojana is located about 15 km south of Ulcinj. It is reached via a bridge over the right branch of the Bojana River. Visitors arrive by car, taxi, or by taking a local minibus from Ulcinj during the summer season.
The island and the resort area are easily explored on foot. The sandy beach stretches for 3 km and is perfect for walking. Bicycles are also popular for getting around the flat terrain.

The main sight is the unique Bojana River delta, where the fresh river water meets the salty Adriatic Sea. The iconic wooden stilt houses (sojenice) lining the riverbanks are a key architectural and cultural feature of the area.
