Why visit?

Grand Gedeh County is a large inland county in eastern Liberia, bordering Côte d'Ivoire. The capital Zwedru is one of Liberia's most important interior towns, serving as a trading centre for the region. The county is covered in tropical rainforest and is home to the Grebo-Krahn National Park, one of Liberia's most important protected areas. The Cavalla River forms most of the eastern border with Côte d'Ivoire.

When is the best time to visit?

The dry season (November–April) is recommended. The rainy season makes roads very difficult.

Tell us your dates and we'll shape a Grand Gedeh route around them.
