Mantsonyane

Mantsonyane is a remote mountain village in Thaba-Tseka District, Lesotho, located in the central highlands. It is a traditional Basotho settlement with limited services, where livestock farming and subsistence agriculture are the main activities. The area offers spectacular mountain scenery and a sense of true remoteness, with pristine alpine landscapes surrounding the village.

The climate is cool due to high elevation. Winters are cold with frost, while summers are mild with occasional thunderstorms.
