Why visit Barouk?

Barouk is a town in the Chouf District at the edge of the Chouf Cedar Nature Reserve, the primary gateway to Lebanon's largest remaining cedar forest.

The climate is Mediterranean with warm dry summers and mild wet winters. The best times to visit are spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) when temperatures are pleasant.

By Plane

Beirut–Rafic Hariri International Airport (BEY IATA) ~50 km.

By Car / Road

From Beirut south toward Sidon, then east through the Chouf mountains.
